Chef Quentin Scott to the position of our culinary Executive Chef.
Quentin Scott showed interest in the culinary field at an early age. This interest blazed into a passion for food. He needed to encompass all facets of food. He researched and decided to join the Apprenticeship Program that was at the Bahamas Hotel Training College.
Being armed with skill, education, charisma and experience, he garnered international focus and was invited to become a part of the team at the Four Seasons. This position allowed him to travel the world training and educating others.
His touch is as far as The Exumas, Bahamas, Dublin, Ireland and Grand Anse, Grenada. The experiences that Ireland and Grenada brought to this Island Man have changed his concept of fresh ingredients. Farm fresh, picked this morning fruits, vegetables, meat and fish. The flavours and smells that are transformed into a masterpiece from using the freshest ingredients, while guaranteeing the greatest product. Old farm style brought to a new generation!
Some of our guests this past season were lucky enough to experience his food after Chef Quentin beat out 6 other chefs vying for the position at Chub Cay through a "tournament style" tryout process. The competition was great and the greatest prevailed, so you can look forward to some of the island standards with fusion of the culinary future.
